This homeowner sought to create a "today" kitchen with a large, open family-friendly environment conducive to family activities. The first task was to expand the kitchen's floor space by knocking out a wall and incorporating a hallway into the kitchen area. Next came the challenge of integrating the interior space into a unified, cohesive whole. The family now spends time together in a bright, open, inviting and comfortable kitchen-centric area that works with their active pace and dynamic lifestyle.
